Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish the parameters for research projects involving human and animal subjects that comply with federal regulations, 45 CFR 46 (2012). Human subjects includes, but is not limited to, 51福利社 students, faculty, staff, or administrators. This policy applies to all research conducted at 51福利社 whether it be by an internal member or organization of the 51福利社 community or an outside individual, group, organization, or agency.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees and students of 51福利社.
Policy Statement
It is the policy of the Kansas City Kansas Community College that all research projects which involve human or animal subjects shall be subject to review and approval by an appropriate 51福利社 Institutional Review Board (IRB) prior to project initiation and without respect to funding or the source of funding.
